Dr. Andrew Markey maintains a full-time cosmetic practice based at the Lister Hospital, while retaining an Honorary Consultant position at St. John's Institute, St. Thomas' Hospital, where he continues to lecture and assist in training of other doctors from the UK and abroad in the specialised field of cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Markey is an internationally recognised expert on all aspects of minimally invasive cosmetic surgery including botulinum toxin (Botox), skin fillers (such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, fat), chemical peeling and laser systems used for cosmetic skin treatments including wrinkling, scarring, body hair, vascular, pigmented and birthmark lesions. Dr. Markey has published over 70 clinical and research publications including original papers, abstracts and book chapters.
